Established in 1997, Hong Kong Federation of Innovative Technologies and Manufacturing Industries (FITMI) was found by nine associations from machinery and metal manufacturing industries. After nineteen years of development, Nowadays FITMI has become a federation with more than 30 associations, with over 2,000 units of corporation and personal members, and has included over a million employment in both Hong Kong and China.

FITMI aims to establish a platform for innovation technology and manufacturing industry, by promoting multi-faceted communication between China, Hong Kong and overseas industries, research institutes, universities. For example, FITMI helps members to explore more overseas business opportunities by organizing overseas study tours and business matching. FITMI also provides strong support for scientific research and development, and often invited the authorities of advanced scientific research to participate in corresponding seminars. In addition, FITMI establishes “Hong Kong Innovative Technologies Achievement Awards” and “Asia International Innovative Invention Awards” to show recognition to the industry elites with outstanding achievements.

　 DMP Greater Bay Area Industrial Expo has been recognized by UFI, and is one of the most iconic large-scale international exhibitions in the industry. It promotes the advanced manufacturing technology and industrial development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, bringing together the world’s top high-precision machinery and equipment, industrial automation, industry 4.0, 5G technology, robots, smart factory solutions, die-casting, foundry, precision injection molding, 3D printing, Industrial Internet, auto parts, molds, accessories and new materials, etc.
