Shaanxi Electronic Information Group unveiled its "Smart Factory 4.0" platform, which integrates 5G, digital twins, and machine learning to optimize production efficiency by 30%. Meanwhile, Northwest University's robotics team demonstrated a collaborative robot capable of performing precision tasks in semiconductor manufacturing, attracting inquiries from over 20 domestic and international buyers.

In the new energy sector, Xi'an Jiaotong University's solid-state battery technology stole the spotlight. The prototype, featuring a 500Wh/kg energy density and 1,000-cycle lifespan, addresses key bottlenecks in electric vehicle adoption. "This technology could reduce charging time by 60% while doubling battery life," explained Professor Li Wei, lead researcher. Three automotive companies have already signed memorandums of understanding for joint development.
新能源领域，西安交通大学固态电池技术成为焦点。其研发的原型电池能量密度达500Wh/kg，循环寿命超1000次，破解电动汽车续航焦虑。“该技术可使充电时间缩短60%，寿命延长一倍。”项目负责人李伟教授介绍。目前已有3家车企签署联合开发意向书。

The delegation also emphasized technology transfer ecosystems. Xi'an Software Park introduced its "Innovation Voucher" program, which subsidizes SMEs' R&D collaborations with universities. Since 2023, the initiative has facilitated 87 projects, generating 2.1 billion yuan in economic output. "We're bridging the gap between lab discoveries and market applications," said Park director Wang Ming.
科技转化生态体系备受关注。西安软件园推出的“创新券”计划，对中小企业与高校联合研发给予补贴。自2023年实施以来，该计划已促成87个项目落地，带动经济效益21亿元。“我们正在打通从实验室到市场的最后一公里。”软件园主任王明表示。
International collaboration formed another highlight. The Xi'an-Silicon Valley Innovation Center signed agreements with two U.S. tech accelerators to establish cross-border incubation platforms. "This will help Xi'an startups access global resources while introducing foreign advanced technologies to China," noted bureau deputy director Zhang Hong.
国际合作成为新看点。西安—硅谷创新中心与两家美国科技加速器签署协议，共建跨境孵化平台。“这将帮助西安初创企业对接全球资源，同时引进国外先进技术。”市科技局副局长张宏指出。

"Xi'an is transforming from a traditional industrial base into a silicon valley of the west," declared bureau director Liu Qiang during the expo's opening ceremony. With 14 national-level innovation platforms and a 43% increase in high-tech enterprises this year, the city aims to triple its strategic emerging industry output to 1.2 trillion yuan by 2025.
