Spanning 30,000 square meters, the exhibition zone will feature over 200 domestic and international exhibitors, including leading manufacturers of eVTOLs (electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft), drones, and light sport aircraft. Highlights include a dedicated pavilion for hydrogen-powered aviation solutions and an interactive zone demonstrating urban air mobility applications. Organizers expect more than 50,000 professional visitors and 300 media outlets to attend, with transactions projected to exceed ¥8 billion.

A two-day international summit will run parallel to the exhibition, gathering aviation regulators from 15 countries, including the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration and European Union Aviation Safety Agency. Discussions will center on harmonizing low-altitude traffic management systems and establishing cross-border operation standards for unmanned aircraft. China’s Civil Aviation Administration will release updated guidelines for drone delivery services in urban areas during the event.

Last year’s drone obstacle course winner, Shenzhen Aerospace Tech, secured ¥50 million in Series A funding within three months of the competition.

By integrating AGAE with its biennial China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition, Zhuhai seeks to create a year-round aviation ecosystem. City officials revealed plans to build a permanent general aviation museum and a low-altitude economy innovation park by 2026. "Our goal is to make Zhuhai synonymous with aviation innovation, just as Geneva is with watches," said Mayor Li Zhihao during the press conference.
