On March 18, amidst the vibrant spring season, the Ministry of Commerce and the People’s Government of Hubei Province jointly hosted the "Deepening Foreign Investment Introduction to Serve Dual Circulation: CIIE in Hubei" event in Wuhan. Attendees included Wang Zhonglin, Secretary of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the CPC and Director of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People’s Congress, and Li Dianxun, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Committee and Governor of Hubei. Tang Wenhong, Assistant Minister of Commerce, Xu Lijing, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of People’s Daily, and Zhang Xiaodong, Vice President of Bank of China, delivered remarks. Key components included a themed promotion conference, sector-specific matchmaking sessions, and on-site visits, attracting 116 foreign enterprises and investment agencies—80 of which are Fortune 500 companies or industry leaders.
