In 2022, we decided to build a malt whisky distillery in Eryuan county, Yunnan's Dali Bai autonomous prefecture. Eryuan's clean and crystal-clear water was the primary factor which drove us to finally settle our distillery there. Moreover, improved government services have given us confidence to keep working with Yunnan. The distillery is under construction at present. It is estimated that trial production will be kicked off by the end of this year.

For multinational enterprises, the CIIE is a huge platform for development. At the 5th CIIE, we rolled out nearly 20 new international brands and hundreds of new products. These goods have been major drivers for L'Oreal's continued growth in China.
两年前，《生物多样性公约》第十五次缔约方大会（COP15）第一阶段会议在云南昆明举办，让世界看见了云南。我们期待继续通过进博会平台实现创新、发展，也期待继续和云南开展合作。
Two years ago, part one of the 15th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) was held in Kunming, making Yunnan province better known to the world. We look forward to continuing innovation and development via the CIIE, while renewing cooperation with Yunnan.

The CIIE has been a key platform for Yuntianhua to cooperate with its international partners. Thanks to the CIIE sessions in the past five years, we have business presence in over 40 countries and regions, with cooperative relations established with more leading enterprises.
目前，云天化紧扣“双循环”的新发展格局，依靠自身的产业优势和全球供应链的渠道优势，积极拓展进口业务。今年进博会，企业计划与客户进行进口农产品、化工品等签约。
At present, Yuntianhua embraces the new development pattern of "dual circulation", where the Chinese market and the global market reinforce each other. Relying on its own advantages in global industries and supply chains, Yuntianhua has increased its import business. At this year’s CIIE, we plan to sign contracts with our customers on importing agricultural products and chemicals.

巴西十分重视进博会这个平台。2018年第一届进博会时，便有巴西企业参展，此后参展规模不断扩大。我们不仅想吸引更多中国企业到巴西投资，也想把咖啡、牛肉、蜂蜜等优质的巴西特产介绍给中国消费者。
Brazil regards the CIIE as a crucial platform. Our enterprises began to participate in this annual event in 2018, and since then an increasing number of Brazilian companies have been involved in the CIIE. We want to invite more Chinese companies to invest in Brazil. Meanwhile, we will also be working on bringing to Chinese consumers more Brazilian commodities, such as coffee, beef and honey.
这次是我第一次来云南。云南的生物医药产业特色鲜明，在国内外市场都拥有良好的口碑。今后，我们希望从这一领域入手，推动更多巴西和云南企业实现交流合作。
This is my first time to visit Yunnan. The province has long been well-known for its rich experience on biopharmaceutics. I think this field can be a good start to open up more business opportunities for the companies from both Brazil and Yunnan.

2022年，我和同事带着巴基斯坦的特色珠宝参加了在昆明举办的第六届中国—南亚博览会。这次展会，让我们看到了中国市场的巨大潜力，以及云南良好的投资营商环境。
My colleagues and I took part in the 6th China-South Asia Expo with our jewelries from Pakistan in 2022. The expo gave us a chance to better understand the great potentials of the Chinese market, as well as Yunnan's business environment.
目前，我们正准备把业务拓展到云南，在昆明开设一家分店，更好地服务中国西南地区的客户。我相信，随着面向中国面向南亚东南亚辐射中心建设的推进，云南将吸引更多海外客商前来投资兴业。
At the moment, we are preparing to extend our business to Yunnan by opening a branch in Kunming. I believe that as the province keeps turning itself into China's pivot of opening up to South and Southeast Asia, more international entreprenueurs will decide to settle down and start their businesses here.
