The 2026 International Conference on Design Innovation and Green Intelligent Manufacturing (DIGIM 2026) will be held in Huangshan, China, from March 27-29, 2026. Guided by the World Eco-Design Organization (UN Special Consultative Status), the conference is co-organized by the National Eco-Industrial Design Institute (EIDI) and Huangshan University. In the context of global digital transformation and sustainable development, DIGIM 2026 will center on two core themes-Digital Intelligence Empowering Design Innovation and Green Intelligent Manufacturing Driving Industrial Transformation. It aims to explore innovative pathways for integrating cutting-edge technologies with design, fostering the green transformation and high-quality development of the manufacturing industry under the framework of ecological civilization. DIGIM 2026 will bring together scholars, experts, and industry representatives from diverse fields including design, manufacturing, artificial intelligence, and sustainability. It is committed to building a multidisciplinary and cross-regional platform for academic exchange and global collaboration. All accepted papers will be officially published and made available online after completing the typesetting and proofreading by publishers. Following publication, the papers will be submitted by the publisher to EI Compendex for indexing. The indexing process typically takes 6 to 12 months after the paper's official publication, depending on the publisher's timeline and the update cycle of the EI database. The final result shall be subject to the official decision.
设计创新与绿色智造国际会议(DIGIM2026)于2026年3月27日至3月29日在中国黄山举办。在世界生态设计组织(联合国特别咨商地位组织)指导下,会议由国家工业设计研究院(生态设计领域)和黄山学院联合主办。在全球数字化转型与可持续发展背景下,DIGIM2026聚焦“数字智能技术赋能设计创新”与“绿色智能制造驱动产业转型”两大核心议题,致力于探讨前沿技术与设计融合的创新路径,推动生态文明背景下制造业的绿色转型与高质量发展。会议将汇聚来自设计、制造、人工智能、可持续发展等多个领域的专家学者与业界代表,搭建多学科、跨区域的学术交流与国际合作平台。所有录用论文将在完成出版社排版与校对后正式出版并上线。出版后的论文由出版社统一提交至 EI Compendex 数据库进行检索。检索周期通常为论文正式出版后6-12个月,具体时间取决于出版社出版进度及EI数据库的更新周期,最终结果以官方处理为准。

I. Sustainable Design Innovation Driven by Digital Intelligence
(A) Focusing on the integration of mechanical engineering and design, this topic explores the convergence of green manufacturing technologies and eco-design concepts. It examines low-carbon product development across the full life cycle, strategies for resource recycling, and optimization of intelligent production systems.
(B)Human-Machine Collaboration & Service Design: In response to the trends of Industry 4.0 and intelligent service transformation, this topic investigates collaborative robots and digital twin factories. By integrating theories and methodologies of service design, it aims to propose innovative service systems that balance technological advancement and human-centered values.
(C) Digital Translation of Industrial Culture: Based on design semiotics and communication studies, this topic analyzes the aesthetic genes and cultural symbols within industrial equipment and traditional mechanical craftsmanship. It explores the digital translation of mechanical culture IPs, cross-media storytelling strategies, and mechanisms for constructing cultural identity in a global context.
II. Green Transformation of Manufacturing Led by New Productive Forces
(A) Green Decision-Making Systems Driven by Industrial Big Data: The topic analyzes the application of big data, AIGC, and related technologies in brand communication, public opinion management, and precision marketing, exploring digital storytelling and communication pathways for industrial development.
(B)Innovation in Intelligent Mechanical Systems and Cultural Tourism Equipment: Focusing on the development of intelligent tourism vehicles adaptable to complex terrains (such as sightseeing passenger drones), wearable guide devices, and IoT-based scenic area safety management technologies.
(C)Smart Technology Empowering Rural Revitalization: The topic examines cases in intelligent agricultural machinery manufacturing, digital communication of local culture, and eco-tourism infrastructure design, exploring innovative paradigms for rural revitalization through technological and cultural integration.
III. Ecological Upgrading of the Cultural Tourism Industry through Digital Empowerment
(A) Virtual Reality and Immersive Experience Design in Cultural Tourism: Developing VR/MR-based cultural tourism scenarios—such as historical event reenactments and intangible cultural heritage experiences—this topic studies multimodal perception integration, virtual–real spatial narrative logic, and quantitative evaluation of user cognitive load.
(B) Green Supply Chains and Resource Circularity in the Cultural Tourism Industry: Integrating mechanical engineering and management science, this topic builds green supply chain models for tourism equipment manufacturing and scenic operation. It investigates remanufacturing technologies for obsolete facilities, intelligent tracking systems for energy and materials, and the long-term impact of circular economy policies on regional cultural tourism ecosystems.
(C) Digital Innovation and Communication of Cultural Heritage: Focusing on the convergence of digital humanities and creative technologies, this topic explores digital storytelling and innovative expression of cultural heritage. It covers areas such as digital revitalization of intangible cultural heritage IPs, immersive experience design for traditional craftsmanship, reconstruction of cultural memory, and visualization of architectural heritage genes.
(D) Intelligent Equipment and Interaction Design in Cultural Tourism Scenarios: Aiming at the upgrading needs of the cultural tourism industry, this topic explores the development of interdisciplinary products—such as intelligent service robots, AR/VR immersive devices, and digital restoration equipment for cultural heritage—and studies optimization of human–machine interaction, translation of cultural symbols into hardware design, and user behavior data analytics.

1.智能制造与可持续设计:聚焦机械工程与设计融合,探索绿色制造技术与生态设计理念的交叉路径,研究全生命周期低碳产品开发、资源循环利用及智能化生产系统优化。
2.人机协同制造与服务设计:面向工业4.0与服务业智能化趋势,研究协作机器人与数字孪生工厂等,结合服务设计与设计方法论,提出“科技”与“人文”平衡的服务系统创新。
3.工业文化的数字化转译与传播:基于设计符号学与传播学,分析工业装备、传统工艺机械中的美学基因与文化符号,探索机械文化IP的数字化转译、跨媒介叙事策略及全球化语境下的文化认同建构。
(二)新质引领下的制造业绿色转型
4.工业大数据驱动的绿色决策系统:分析大数据、AIGC等技术在品牌传播、舆情管理、精准营销中的应用,探索产业发展的数字化叙事与传播路径。
5.智能机械系统与文旅装备创新:研发适用于复杂地形的智能文旅载具(如观光型载人无人机)、可穿戴式导游设备,以及基于物联网的景区安全管理技术。
6.智能技术赋能乡村振兴:聚焦智能农机制造、乡土文化数字化传播、生态旅游基础设施设计等案例,探索乡村振兴创新范式。
(三)数字赋能下的文旅业生态升级
7.虚拟现实技术与文旅沉浸式体验设计:开发基于VR/MR的文旅场景(如历史事件重现、非遗技艺体验),研究多模态感知融合、虚实空间叙事逻辑及用户体验认知负荷的量化评估方法。
8.绿色供应链与文旅产业资源循环:融合机械工程与管理学,构建文旅装备制造、景区运营中的绿色供应链模型,研究废旧设施再制造技术、能源与物料智能追踪系统及循环经济政策对区域文旅生态的长期影响。
9.文化遗产的数字化创新与传播:聚焦数字人文与创意科技融合,探索文化遗产的数字化叙事与创新表达。涵盖非遗IP数字活化与文创设计、非遗技艺沉浸式体验设计与文化记忆重构、古建筑文化基因可视化传播等。
10.文旅场景中的智能装备与交互设计:研究智能服务机器人、AR/VR设备、文化遗产数字化修复装备等机械-设计跨界产品的开发,探讨人机交互体验优化、文化符号在硬件设计中的转化逻辑及用户行为数据分析方法。

1. All submissions must be written in English.
Submitted papers should be original and unpublished research with significant academic and practical value.
2. Please strictly follow the conference paper template when formatting your submission. The Word Template can be downloaded from the “Paper Submission” section of the conference website: http://www.digimconf.org
3. Please submit your paper (in PDF format) through the online submission system: http://www.digimconf.org/submit
4. The conference adopts a double-blind peer review process. Do not include identifying information (e.g., names, affiliations, email addresses) in the initial submission.
5. If the file size exceeds 10MB, please send it directly to the organizing committee via email: submit@digimconf.org. Before emailing your paper, make sure you have registered in the submission system and obtained a Submission ID.
6. The minimum length of the paper is 4 pages. An extra page fee will be charged for papers exceeding 6 pages.
