At the 2024 China International Industry Fair (CIIF), Rittal showcased its innovations and industrial solutions, solidifying its leadership in the fields of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing. During the event, Marcus Wassmuth, Senior Director of AHK Greater China, came to the site and sat down for an insightful interview with Michael Galler, COO of Rittal Asia and Acting Managing Director of Rittal China. Galler shared Rittal's key successes in China, emphasizing how the company’s products and strategies have been widely recognized in this crucial market.

When Wassmuth asked about Rittal's key achievements in China, Galler mentioned that over years, Rittal has continued to focus on localized development in China, contributing significantly to industries such as automotive, machinery manufacturing, new energy, new infrastructure, and data centers. Through involvement in major projects like the Beijing Daxing International Airport, Tesla’s China Gigafactory, and the National Big Data Industry Base, Rittal has significantly expanded its influence in the Chinese market.

Rittal has optimized its supply chain, entered new industries, developed customer-oriented products for China, and restructured cost efficiencies to ensure that its products precisely meet market demands. Additionally, the company has successfully implemented lean management, which has increased production efficiency.
Galler emphasized that through technological innovation, Rittal not only meets its customers' sustainability goals but also contributes to China’s broader transition toward low-carbon industrial growth.

A key highlight of the interview was Rittal’s VX25 Enclosure System. When asked about the latest developments in VX25 technological innovation and how Rittal meets the specific needs of the Chinese market through technological innovation, Galler emphasized that Rittal is highly aligned with the needs of the Chinese market and that the modular design and intelligent integration of the VX25 Enclosure System help customers optimize production processes and enhance operational efficiency. He expressed his firm belief that this product will become a key driver in China’s smart manufacturing field, with Rittal providing ongoing technical support for Chinese enterprises in the global competition.
